Werner Roux

As a freelance photographer, Werner is in his element when he is on tour. After his first tour with Karoo Biking in 2009, he was sold on adventure biking. He went and got himself a BMW F800GS, a mega dual-sport he swears by.

Combining biking and photography, he is always in 7th heaven. Even when the going gets tough, Werner will simply flash you that smile and say: “Africa is not for sissies!”

The opportunity to interact with people of different backgrounds and nationalities is an added bonus he thrives on, it makes each tour unique, exciting and unpredictable.
