Landlocked by South Africa, Lesotho is flanked by the Drakensberg Mountains on its Eastern border. The mountains are known as uKhahlamba (the Barrier of Spears) - a 200-kilometre-long mountainous wonderland and world heritage site rich with relics from the Stone Age and San bushmen including 35 000 San rock art images. This 2,000 km, ten-day tour will see us circling Lesotho in a clockwise fashion, travelling through the Drakensberg and up to Sani Pass which offers breathtaking uninterrupted views of the KwaZulu Natal valleys.
This tour in mainly on-road, with some easy gravel road riding on the Southern side of Lesotho.
